License & Terms of Use
Last updated: July 30, 2026
These License & Terms of Use apply to all digital products purchased from Lela Shop, including templates, printable artwork, invitations, party designs, sewing patterns, guides, graphics, and other downloadable resources.
By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using a Lela Shop product, you agree to these terms.
1. Ownership and License
Purchasing a digital product from Lela Shop does not transfer ownership or copyright of the product to the buyer.
All digital files, designs, artwork, illustrations, templates, layouts, patterns, instructions, photographs, and other creative materials remain the intellectual property of Lela Shop or their respective licensors.
Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the product according to the license included with your purchase.
The purchase of a product does not grant permission to claim the design as your own, register it as a trademark, copyright it in your name, or prevent Lela Shop from selling the same product to other customers.
2. Personal Use License
Unless a product listing clearly states that commercial use is included, all Lela Shop digital products include a Personal Use License only.
Under the Personal Use License, you may:
-
Download and save the purchased files on your personal devices.
-
Edit the customizable areas of an editable template.
-
Print the product for your own personal use.
-
Use the product for your own home, celebration, event, classroom, hobby, or personal project.
-
Send a completed digital invitation or design to your personal guests.
-
Use a professional printing service to print the product for your personal use.
-
Create physical items for yourself or as personal gifts, provided they are not sold.
A Personal Use License does not permit you to sell products created using the design, use the product for paid client work, or use the product for business or commercial purposes.
3. Commercial Use License
Commercial use is not included with the standard purchase of a digital product unless the product listing specifically states otherwise.
To use a Lela Shop product for business, resale, or paid client work, you must purchase the applicable Commercial Use License separately.
The Commercial Use License must be purchased for each individual digital product or design you intend to use commercially.
One Commercial Use License allows one individual or one registered business to create and sell up to 500 physical end products using the licensed design.
Permitted physical end products may include, when appropriate for the purchased design:
-
Printed invitations.
-
Party decorations.
-
Event signs.
-
Stickers and labels.
-
Printed wall art.
-
Handmade accessories.
-
Sewn products made from a purchased pattern.
-
Other completed physical items described or permitted in the applicable product listing.
The 500-unit limit applies to the total number of physical items created using one licensed digital product, regardless of the number of designs, variations, colors, sizes, sales channels, or customers involved.
For example, if you create 200 stickers and 300 printed signs using the same licensed design, you have reached the 500-unit commercial limit.
Once you reach 500 physical end products, you must purchase an additional or extended license, when available, before producing or selling more units.
A Commercial Use License does not allow the resale, sharing, redistribution, or transfer of the original digital files.
4. Use for Client Projects
A Commercial Use License allows you to use the licensed product to create completed work for your own customers.
You may:
-
Customize permitted text, names, dates, colors, or other editable details for a client.
-
Create a completed printed or physical product for a client.
-
Provide a client with a flattened and finalized file when necessary for printing or personal use.
-
Use the design as part of a custom event, celebration, or creative service.
You may not:
-
Give the client the original editable file.
-
Share the original Canva template link.
-
Transfer the original source file, layered file, pattern file, or downloadable package.
-
Allow the client to edit, reuse, resell, share, or redistribute the original design.
-
Sell the product as a reusable template.
-
Sell the same digital design as an editable or downloadable product.
-
Purchase one license on behalf of multiple unrelated businesses.
Any finalized digital file provided to a client must be flattened, non-editable, and created for that specific client’s personal use.
The client may not use the finalized file to manufacture products for resale unless they purchase their own applicable commercial license.
5. Permitted Modifications
You may modify a purchased product only as needed to create a permitted personal or commercial end product.
Permitted modifications may include:
-
Changing editable text.
-
Adding names, dates, event information, or personal details.
-
Adjusting permitted colors.
-
Resizing the design for an appropriate end product.
-
Adding your own text, photographs, or design elements.
-
Combining the product with your own original creative elements.
-
Making necessary adjustments to produce a finished physical item.
Some illustrations, artwork, backgrounds, fonts, layouts, or design elements may be locked and may not be editable.
Modifying a Lela Shop product does not transfer copyright or ownership to you. Changes to colors, wording, layout, size, or other elements do not make the original design your intellectual property.
You may not modify a product for the purpose of reselling it as a digital file, editable template, design resource, pattern, graphic, or downloadable product.
6. Digital Products May Not Be Resold
Under no license may you resell, sublicense, redistribute, or offer the original digital files as digital products.
You may not:
-
Resell the original file.
-
Resell an edited or modified version of the file.
-
Sell the product as an editable Canva template.
-
Sell the product as a printable download.
-
Sell or distribute the product as a PDF, PNG, JPG, SVG, ZIP, or other digital format.
-
Convert the product into another file format for resale.
-
Extract illustrations, graphics, artwork, fonts, or individual design elements for resale.
-
Include the files in digital bundles, memberships, subscriptions, courses, libraries, or resource collections.
-
Offer the files as a free download, giveaway, lead magnet, bonus, or promotional item.
-
Upload the files to digital marketplaces or file-sharing platforms.
-
Use the design to create a competing digital product.
This restriction applies even when the design has been modified, personalized, combined with other elements, or converted into another format.
7. Sharing and File Access
Your purchase and license are for use by one individual or one registered business only.
You may not:
-
Share the downloaded files with friends, family members, clients, employees, contractors, or other businesses.
-
Share editable Canva template links.
-
Post the files in Facebook groups, social media groups, online communities, cloud drives, forums, or file-sharing websites.
-
Email the original files to another person.
-
Allow another business to use your purchased files.
-
Transfer or sell your license to another person or company.
-
Upload the files to a shared account that allows unlicensed users to access them.
A printing company or production partner may temporarily access a finalized file only to produce an authorized physical end product for you. They may not retain, reuse, sell, share, or distribute the file for any other purpose.
You are responsible for ensuring that any printing company, contractor, or production partner follows these terms.

You may not upload Lela Shop files or designs to a print-on-demand platform, even when the files have been modified or combined with other design elements.
Print-on-demand use is permitted only when Lela Shop provides express written authorization or offers a separate Print-on-Demand or Extended Commercial License for the specific product.
The availability of a Commercial Use License does not automatically include print-on-demand rights.

10. License Limits and Additional Licenses
Each license applies only to the specific product identified in the purchase.
Purchasing a Commercial Use License for one product does not grant commercial rights to other Lela Shop products.
Commercial licenses may not be combined or transferred between different products. A separate license must be purchased for each design used commercially.
If more than one business, organization, or individual will use the product commercially, each party must purchase its own license.
Businesses with employees or contractors may allow those individuals to work with the licensed design solely on behalf of the purchasing business. Employees and contractors may not use the files for their own businesses, clients, or personal commercial projects.
11. License Termination

Upon termination, you must:
-
Stop using the product.
-
Stop producing or selling items containing the product.
-
Remove prohibited digital listings.
-
Delete shared or redistributed copies.
-
Remove the files from unauthorized platforms or accounts.
Termination does not require Lela Shop to issue a refund.
Lela Shop reserves the right to pursue appropriate action in cases of unauthorized reproduction, resale, sharing, redistribution, or infringement.
12. Product-Specific Terms
Some products may contain additional or different licensing conditions.
When the individual product listing, download document, or separately purchased license includes specific terms, those terms will apply in addition to this policy.
If there is a conflict between this general policy and a product-specific license, the product-specific license will control for that product.
13. Questions and Permission Requests
For questions about licensing, extended use, production limits, or uses not clearly covered by this policy, please contact Lela Shop before using the product.
Written permission must be obtained before using a product in any way not expressly permitted by these terms.
